Peterborough have recalled defender Tommy Williams from his loan spell with Championship rivals QPR.

The 29-year-old left-back's loan deal was supposed to expire on January 4 but he has returned a week early and will be available for Posh's FA Cup third-round trip to Tottenham.

Williams, who also had a loan stint with Rangers in 2003, made five appearances during his second spell in west London.
