Shackell extends Doncaster stay

Wolves have agreed to extend defender Jason Shackell's loan spell at Doncaster until the end of the season.

Centre-half Shackell arrived at the Keepmoat Stadium in mid-August and has become a virtual ever-present in manager Sean O'Driscoll's side.

The 26-year-old, who started out at Norwich before sealing a permanent move to Wolves in September 2008, has made 19 appearances for Doncaster and scored his only goal in the 3-1 home win over Peterborough in October.

Wolves have insisted that Shackell can be recalled to Molineux at any time if another club make an acceptable offer for the player and he agrees to go.
