WWE fans could finally be getting what they want, as it's possible that The Shield could be reuniting as soon as next month's Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view (PPV). One of the most dominant and beloved stables in WWE history is The Shield; and it's made up of three former World Heavyweight Champions in Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose. The trio were called up from NXT back in 2012 when they made their debut at the Survivor Series PPV in order to interfere in the WWE Championship main event.Then-champion CM Punk was defending his title against John Cena and Ryback, but The Shield showed up to ensure that nobody except "The Cult Of Personality" walked out of the arena with the World Title. The Shield powerbombed Ryback through an announce table, which allowed Punk to pick up the win by pinning Cena. They continued to assist Punk several times after that, but it was later revealed that Punk's manager, Paul Heyman, hired the three men to carry out the actions. They soon broke off into a fierce Six Man Tag Team match, in which they went undefeated for quite some time before being handed their first loss on an episode of Monday Night RAW to the team of Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) and John Cena. Despite this, The Shield would still go on to have an immense amount of success. At one point all three men held WWE gold, as Reigns and Rollins picked up the WWE Tag Team Titles while Dean Ambrose won the United States Championship. After all three men lost their belts the trio entered their final feud against Triple H and The Authority. This led to a brief reunion for Evolution (Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista) who challenged The Shield multiple times. After The Shield picked up a Six Man Tag Team victory over Evolution at the Payback PPV, Seth Rollins betrayed Reigns and Ambrose by hitting them with a steel chair on RAW in favor of joining The Authority. Since then, all three men have embarked on extremely successful singles careers, and talk of a reunion between the three has really heated up as of late.Rollins and Ambrose have since reconciled their differences and currently rule as the RAW Tag Team Champions. All three men are currently on the same brand on RAW, which makes the possibility of a reunion all the more possible.Per a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet's James Mckenna, the WWE could be making a Shield reunion very soon in order to kick start ticket sales for next month's TLC PPV:
