Borussia Dortmund enter their match against Real Madrid on Tuesday with their confidence sky high.Peter Bosz’s side recorded a 6-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday to jump to the top of the Bundesliga table. There’s never really a good time as any to take on the reigning Champions League winners but if Bosz could ask for any date, he’d probably pick tomorrow.Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t been at his devastating best since his return from a five match ban, failing to score against Real Betis and Alaves, and Real have kept just one clean sheet in their past seven matches in all competitions. So Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and co. will go into the game at the Westfalenstadion with a belief that they can overcome Zinedine Zidane’s team.Unsurprisingly, Bosz was jubilant after the impressive win over Monchengladbach.“Across the course of the match it was really a lot of fun to watch Dortmund play,” he said, per ESPN. “The team should be lauded for playing as they did three days after the Hamburg game.”

'Gladbach's Twitter feed was hilarious

It was an entirely miserable game for Monchengladbach, who were 4-0 down within 49 minutes.

We feel for the club’s social media guys, who sounded so depressed as they tweeted live updates from the match.

Monchengladbach tweeted Real Madrid

But they’ve saved their best tweet for today, ahead of Dortmund’s match against Real.

The Spanish giants posted a photo of Marco Asensio and Isco aboard a plan to Germany, writing: “✈🇩🇪👍 #RMUCL We're off to Dortmund!”

And Gladbach responded with a cheeky shot at their own defence.

“If you happen to find our defence, please forward it to Mönchengladbach 👍,” they wrote.

Hilarious. If only more football clubs were as light-hearted on Twitter.

Bosz: We're more than a two-man team

Aubameyang and Maximilian Philipp combined to score five of the goals in BVB’s 6-1 win but Bosz was keen to stress that his team is more than just two in-form strikers.

"The players who were involved in the build-up to the goals also played a very important role,” he added. “Therefore, in my opinion, it was a remarkable team performance that we showed here today.

"You don't win 6-1 against a well organised opponent with just two strikers."

It looks destined to be a high-scoring contest against Real.
