The National Football League (NFL) has been subject to a ton of criticism and controversy for a number of their players' actions during the playing of the National Anthem before games.

It all started last year when now-former San Francisco 49'ers quarterback Collin Kaepernick began kneeling for the National Anthem in protest of what he feels is oppression towards african americans by law enforcement throughout the country.

Many fans found the quarterback's actions extremely disrespectful and took it as a slight towards the United States veterans, anthem, and flag. Since then, Kaepernick and the 49'ers have gone their separate ways and he has been unable to land a job with any NFL team.

While there is a ton of controversy as to why Kaepernick can't get signed to a contract - whether it's because of his kneeling, his poor play in the latter portion of his run in San Francisco, or his high asking price for a contract, the movement he started lives on.

Players around the NFL have adopted Kaepernick's cause and have begun kneeling or sitting during the anthem themselves, sparking a mixture of rage and support throughout the nation. This sparked a comment from U.S. President Donald Trump, who claims he wishes that some owners would say that they'd take the 'son of a b*tch' that kneels out of the game.

The President's comments came on the heels of Week Three of the NFL regular season, and provoked a huge uprising from NFL players around the league. Many teams protested against Trump's remarks by either jointly kneeling for the anthem, locking arms during the anthem, or not coming out to the field for the anthem altogether.

One of the more interesting protests came from the Dallas Cowboys, who have longtime been recognized as 'America's Team.' Team owner Jerry Jones has been on record of being against the kneeling of players during the anthem, but changed his tune by kneeling alongside his players prior to their game against the Arizona Cardinals last night.

A fan uploaded a hilarious video that showed Jones desperately wanting to be seen kneeling with the Cowboys, and at one point saved a camera man from being escorted away from the group. Check it out:

What are your thoughts on the video of Jones seeming to go out of his way to be seen taking a knee with his Cowboy players? How do you feel about the taking a knee protest overall? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
