Cometh the hour, cometh Michy Batshuayi. The Belgian striker scored in the fourth minute of stoppage time as Chelsea secured a crucial 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid in the Wanda Metropolitano last night. And, as you can imagine, he didn’t wait to react on Twitter to his last-minute heroics.Batshuayi has becoming something of a social media star with his tweets to EA Sports over his FIFA ratings and general banter. In an era where footballers seem increasingly distant from fans, it’s actually quite nice to see.The 23-year-old posted a serious of tweets, including that one of him mocked up as Batman, and one of the best included a photo of him with Atletico Madrid strikers Fernando Torres and Diego Costa.Costa, of course, recently completed his return to Atleti but it was Torres who Batshuayi was more excited to see.“Great honour to meet one of the great strikers I used to watch when I was younger ⚽️⚡️ ... and no Im not talking about Diego 🤣❤️😂❤️#ElNino,” Batshuayi wrote.

Brilliant. Wonder what Costa has to say about that…

Chelsea earned a huge win

The Spain international watched on from the stands as the Blues came back from 1-0 down to defeat Diego Simeone’s side.

Antoine Griezmann had given the hosts the lead from the penalty spot before Alvaro Morata, who was exceptional all game, equalised on the hour mark.

It paved the way for Batshuayi, who replaced Morata in the 82nd minute, to score the winner.

Conte was upset after the win

It was an excellent victory against Chelsea’s toughest group opponents but Antonio Conte still had his complaints, the Italian bemoaning the Blues’ hectic schedule.

“We don't have a lot of time because the game is on Saturday against Manchester City,” Conte said, per the Telegraph.

“Honestly, I think, in this case we are a bit penalised and I think it's very important before taking a decision like this to analyse the different situations of the teams.

“Honestly, I'm very surprised to see that this game we have to play on Saturday, not on Sunday. I don't understand why. We want to be ready, and we have to face this game.

“As you know, very well, Manchester City are a really strong team. They are winning, scoring a lot of goals and are in a good moment of form.”

And the same can't be said about Chelsea?
