Ronaldo's 4-star skill moves

Retired Brazilian striker Ronaldo, AKA 'El Fenomeno', is widely recognised as one of the greatest goalscorers in football history.

The legendary former Inter Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid superstar famously invented the 'elastico' skill.

Fans were upset when Ronaldo's FIFA 18 card was released earlier in September after it emerged that he would only have four-star skill moves.

It meant the World Cup winner would be unable to do his trademark 'elastico' skill in the game.

EA Sports have responded to fan disapproval on social media and tweeted a major change made to Ronaldo's Icon card late on Wednesday night.

They upgraded his skill moves and his weak foot ratings to 5-star.

Now 41, Ronaldo scored 414 goals in 616 career games, but his dazzling feet and trickery is what fans tend to remember him for the most.

He weighed in on the Messi v Ronaldo debate earlier this year.

“Both of them are fantastic," said the Brazilian legend. "I love Messi with the ball at his feet, he scores goals and does all the rest too. But Cristiano’s numbers can’t be ignored. It’s a cruel comparison. Both of them deserve respect.”

Messi only has four-star skill moves on FIFA 18 whilst his rival at Real Madrid was unsurprisingly given the maximum.
