Sheffield United defender Matthew Kilgallon looks set to remain with the Championship club until at least the end of the current season, according to his agent.
The centre-half has long been linked with a move away from Bramall Lane and the speculation has again re-surfaced with talk surrounding Kilgallon's future and possible moves to Newcastle or Celtic.
But Kilgallon's agent Paul Masterton told the Yorkshire Post: "We have spoken to (United boss) Kevin Blackwell to say Matthew is fully committed to Sheffield United until the end of the season."
He added: "We have also informed Newcastle about the situation.
"Matthew is keen to win promotion with Sheffield United, if that happens we will re-assess the options in the summer."
