A former champion could be returning to WWE.

Dave Meltzer noted in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there had been some talk within WWE about bringing former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn (Celeste Bonin) back to the company.

Kaitlyn started her career as a body fitness model, and in 2007, she won the National Physique Committee (NPC) John Sherman Classic Bodybuilding Figure and Fitness Championship. She also came in fifth at the Arnold Classic in the NPC Figure Class D competition.

However, in July of 2010, she decided to make a career move by getting into the professional wrestling business. She signed a developmental contract with WWE. Fast forward to later that year, she competed in and won the all-female third season of NXT. By winning the season, she earned a spot on the main roster.

In August 2012, Kaitlyn was given a job from SmackDown General Manager Booker T as his assistant. However, that role didn’t last long as she was put in a match against an angry Eve Torres in which the winner would be awarded the job. Kaitlyn lost the assistant job to Eve the following week.

She won the WWE Divas Championship in January 2013 and held the title for five months. On January 8, 2014, Kaitlyn decided to terminate her contract with WWE. Her final match aired that night on WWE Main Event but lost to AJ Lee.In her final address, she stated that she would return to the fitness industry.

Up until recently, she walked away from the wrestling business to focus on her marriage and clothing line. Now, things are changing for her.

Kaitlyn recently got back into the ring for the first time in 4 years at the Main Event Training Center in Florida. You can read her Instagram post down below:

“Holy f--k. I haven't sweat this much in a long time. I spent the morning training at #maineventtrainingcenter with @pablomarquez94 and his crew. A huge thanks to everyone for putting up with my rusty ass. I haven't wrestled in 4 years. I forgot how fun/exhausting it is. #mainevent #prowrestling #imold #andoutofshape @coastalchampionshipwrestling.”
