It's no secret that Vince McMahon tends to give monster pushes to WWE stars that look the part.

You can see that now. The Roman Reigns push will probably never end, while Braun Strowman has got himself into incredible shape too, and the list certainly doesn't end there as you can throw the likes of Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar in there too.

PHYSIQUE

However, that have been some instances where the chiselled Greek God physique hasn't been necessary to achieve the highest of the high.

However, one of the most recent examples who has defied his critics to become a world champion in WWE is Kevin Owens, who claimed the Universal Championship before dropping it to Goldberg earlier this year.

It's clear that The Prizefighter isn't in the best shape, but that hasn't stopped him from being one of the finest competitors in all of WWE today, but that doesn't seem to be sitting well with one SmackDown LIVE star.

Randy Orton is another who has maintained a great physique throughout his time in WWE, and recently sat down with Edge and Christian on their Pod Of Awesomeness where The Viper poked fun at Owens' weight.

Speaking of his own physique at 37-years-old, the former WWE Champion admitted it's been tough.

ORTON'S WEIGHT JIBE

According to Wrestling Inc, he said: "I'm always up and down when it comes to my body. It's stressful, it is."

Edge and Christian highlighted how difficult it is to maintain a strict eating regimen, before Orton jokingly took aim at Owens, saying he wishes he could get over the way Owens did.

He added: "I guess Kevin Owens has it figured out.

"He started fat and he'll finish fat. He's trying to get himself over as the fat guy that can fight.

"Bless his heart, that's great. I'm jealous."

Orton also mentioned in the interview how he's bored of the babyface act and wants to turn heel again.

While it is easier for heels to get over despite not being in great shape, Owens has to be given credit for the level of work he puts in and how talented he is for a man of his size.

He's always putting on consistently-impressive matches, and it doesn't seem like he's going to be changing the way he looks anytime soon, especially since Vince McMahon doesn't seem to be affected by it.
