The fact Mario Balotelli never reached his true potential is a crying shame. Now 27-years-old, the Italian memorably burst onto the scene five years ago with a stunning brace against Germany in the semi-finals of Euro 2012.He was such an exciting talent that many tipped him to win the Ballon d'Or, but we're now in 2017 and he hasn't even come close.A combination of factors have prevented Balotelli from becoming the player he was destined to be, such as poor form, poor decisions and a poor attitude.Everything that's happened in his career has culminated in playing for Nice in Ligue 1, though it has to be said, he's doing pretty well there.Balotelli scored 15 goals in his first season in France and has followed that up by bagging five in as many games this term.He once again got on the scoresheet against Marseille on Sunday, but his fourth-minute goal wasn't enough to earn victory.Nice took an early 2-0 lead through Balotelli and Jean Seri at the Allianz Riviera but eventually lost 4-2, with three of Marseille's goals coming in under 10 minutes in the first half. And safe to say conceding three goals in such a small space of time annoyed Balotelli, who reacted furiously in the tunnel as he walked to the changing rooms. In the video below, Balotelli can be heard saying: "Three goals in 10 minutes, three goals in 10 minutes. Go f**k yourself."Balotelli also punches the press board with some force to vent his anger. Check it out.

BALOTELLI LASHES OUT VS MARSEILLE

There's the Balotelli we know and love. It's no wonder the Italian was angry, in truth, given Nice had just blown a comfortable 2-0 lead.

Worse still, Luis Gustavo was sent off for Marseille in the 67th minute, yet Nice were still unable to claw their way back into the game.
