The Shield is set to reunite shortly. When the group first made their way onto WWE television, they were an instant hit with the fans. From the way that they looked at how they worked in the ring to their promos. They got over big time with the fans, which is something that a group had not done in years. Stables will be created from time to time but not have the success that acts like The Four Horsemen, DX, NWO and other classic groups had.The Shield, who featured Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns, was a different kind of stable that was created with NXT Superstars. The group teamed together until June 2014, after which Reigns entered singles competition. Ever since the group split up, fans have turned on Reigns despite him being portrayed as a babyface. As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Denver, CO at the Pepsi Center on the USA Network, WWE teased The Shield reuniting in the closing segment of the show where Reigns, Ambrose, and Rollins all stood in the locker room while shaking their heads at each other. It was reported a week ago that WWE is planning a reunion for the group at the upcoming TLC PPV.It appears that WWE is setting up a six-man tag team match that would see The Shield take on The Miz, Sheamus, and Cesaro at the TLC PPV. If the match is to take place, it could be announced after next week's edition of MizTV. The Miz will interview Cesaro and Sheamus in that segment. The TLC pay-per-view event takes place on October 22nd at the Target Center in Minnesota, Minneapolis and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. This will be an exclusive RAW brand event. Only one match for the upcoming event has been officially announced, which is Alexa Bliss defending the Raw Women’s Title against Mickie James. WWE officials are expected to be announcing more matches for the event in the coming weeks. As seen below, the official poster for the event has been released and confirmed that The Shield would be back wrestling together at the event.
