One of the biggest storylines going at the moment in the WWE involves Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose, as speculation has suggested a reunification of The Shield could happen as early as next week on Monday Night RAW.

A comeback of the popular stable has been teased for the past couple of weeks and months, with it all beginning when Rollins and Ambrose put their differences aside to become a tag team. The storyline has then been kicked up a couple of notches during Reigns' confrontations with The Miz.

The Miz and his Miztourage have been beating up The Big Dog over the past couple of weeks, mimicking The Shield's crowd entrance, as well the group's iconic fist bump over Reigns' body. This past week on RAW, The Miz this time did the fist bump with Cesaro and Sheamus after a triple powerbomb to Reigns.

A reunification of The Shield was further teased this week when Reigns, Rollins, and Ambrose were all seen in the locker room together, although no words were spoken between the three of them. That reunification could happen as early as next week, especially when you look at the history The Shield has had in the arena which the show is taking place in.

Next week's Monday Night RAW will be taking place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, which so happens to be the same arena which The Shield made their WWE debuts at during Survivor Series in 2012.

It also so happens to be the same arena which Rollins turned heel on Reigns and Ambrose back in 2014, aligning himself with Triple H and Randy Orton and joining The Authority in the process.

Quite funny now that they'll be bringing the band back together again in the same spot which two major events of the stable's history happened, so long as they're able to put history behind them. It would be brilliant if Ambrose lived up to his Lunatic Fringe nickname and started having flashbacks, but WWE is unlikely to do this.

All of this is taking place in preparation for RAW's next exclusive pay-per-view, TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, which takes place on October 22. The main event of the show is expected to be The Shield vs The Miz, Sheamus & Cesaro after what happened this week on WWE's red brand.

If the rumors are true, things could be coming full circle for The Shield in the arena which is rich in their history next week on RAW.
