Vincent Pericard will be available to make his Swindon debut against Gillingham although he may find himself behind Charlie Austin and Billy Paynter in the pecking order.

Pericard signed a one-and-a-half year contract at the County Ground on Thursday after rejecting a new deal with Carlisle and will certainly be included in Danny Wilson`s matchday 18.

But he is unlikely to muscle in-form strike duo Austin and Paynter from the starting XI with the pair having combined to score 13 of the club`s last 15 goals in all competitions.

Winger Alan O'Brien continues to work his way back from another hamstring problem and will miss out, while defender Yinka Casal left the club by mutual consent earlier this week and will therefore not be available.

On-loan striker Alex Revell also departed earlier this month but full-back Alan Sheehan and striker Danny Ward both extended their stays and are available, while defender Sean Morrison has also returned from his stint at Southend.

Gillingham boss Mark Stimson is set to recall centre-back Josh Gowling for the trip after he served a one-mach ban.

Gowling will replace Matt Fry, who has returned to parent club West Ham for treatment on a knee injury sustained against Exeter on December 28.

Midfielder Curtis Weston missed the 1-1 draw against the Grecians due to a one-match ban but he comes back into contention.

Manchester United striker striker Febian Brandy could play some part in the final match of his current loan spell after responding well to treatment to a twisted ankle.

Midfielder Adam Miller has returned from a loan spell at Dagenham and could feature in Stimson`s travelling squad.

Winger Andy Barcham, centre-half Garry Richards and goalkeeper Simon Royce all remain sidelined with knee injuries, and defender Simon King and midfielder Danny Jackman are long-term absentees.
