Boss Neil Woods has no new problems as he looks to halt Grimsby's long winless run against Cheltenham at Blundell Park.

However, Woods is boosted by the addition to his squad of Paris Cowan-Hall. The midfielder joined the club on loan from Portsmouth last week but was denied the chance to make his debut when the trip to Crewe was postponed.

Nicky Featherstone has extended his loan spell from Hull but another forward, Chris Jones, has left the club to join Principality Welsh Premier outfit Neath until the end of the season.

Full-back Robbie Stockdale and striker Adrian Forbes remain the only injury absentees.

Stockdale has undergone a second operation on a troublesome hernia problem while Forbes faces at least another three weeks on the sidelines after scans revealed a hairline crack of his fibula.

The Mariners' last league win was a 2-0 victory at Hartlepool on October 6, which was 13 matches ago.

Danny Andrew is poised to make his Cheltenham bow after he signed on loan from Peterborough earlier this week and will slot in at left-back with Lee Ridley still sidelined for a further two weeks with a calf injury.

Yates could also hand a second debut to on-loan Blackpool defender Ashley Eastham, who is set to return on loan until the end of the season, if all the paperwork is completed in time for Saturday's clash.

Justin Richards has been suffering with tonsilitis this week but he trained on Thursday and Yates is confident the striker will be in contention for the trip to Blundell Park.

On-loan Joss Labadie has extended his stay with the Robins and will be looking to keep his place in the middle of the park, while fellow midfielder Josh Low also returns having missed the clash against Bradford last time out due to suspension.

Captain Shane Duff continues to make strides in his recovery from an Achilles problem and is in line to return to full training by the end of March.
