Diego Costa finally escaped his Chelsea exile this summer and faces a two month wait to return to the pitch in Atletico Madrid colours.Despite having finished all three of his seasons at Stamford Bridge as the club's top scorer, Antonio Conte told the Spaniard he was no longer in his plans in May.Weeks of losing fitness and gaining weight in Brazil later and Chelsea eventually procured £57 million for a man who scored 59 goals in blue. One of the reasons for his exit proved his somewhat strong personality.During his three years in west London, Costa was stalked by controversy with his fiery on-pitch antics reaping feuds with other players and yellow cards in abundance. In reality, though, the 29-year-old was lauded as something of a joker in the Chelsea squad, a trait that saw the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Willian and Pedro keep constant contact with him.It was no more apparent when Chelsea collecting the Premier League title last season, too. Costa dragged Conte out of a press conference before sporting bizarre sunglasses during the on-pitch celebrations. His behaviour must have made for one interesting dressing room with Michy Batshuayi proving quite the joker himself, especially through his antics on social media.Only Benjamin Mendy can stake a tangible claim in rivalling Batshuayi on Twitter as far as the Premier League is concerned. And despite now separated by both clubs and nations, Batshuayi once again collided with Costa on Instagram in the past week with a bizarre exchange that largely slipped under the radar.Ahead of the international fixtures this week, the Belgian posted a photo of himself in a press conference for Belgium with the caption: 'Good night.' Pretty standard, right? The 24-year-old was clearly happy to be representing his country again and was simply wishing the best to his fans. Cue Costa, though, who swooped in with the comment 'Safadinho.'The translation offered by Instagram is 'chair' - take a look:To say it confused fans in the comments section would be putting it mildly.Batshuayi replied 'What?' with a series of laughing face emojis in sheer bewilderment at the comment.Nevertheless, one Chelsea fans think they know the secret to the comment and that Costa's one word reply has been lost in translation, meaning to state 'bench' as a dig at Batshuayi playing second fiddle to him and now Alvaro Morata with the Blues.

Batshuayi didn't seem to get the joke, mind.

Besides, if that is the secret, then Costa will have to get used to sitting on the sidelines himself for the next two months at the least.
