DJ unsure where he plays next

On-loan striker DJ Campbell admits he is unsure whether his immediate future lies at Leicester or Derby.

The 28-year-old is set to return to his parent club in two weeks when his loan spell with the Rams expires. Derby boss Nigel Clough is keen to keep Campbell until the end of the season and the player is enjoying his stay at Pride Park.

He told the Burton Mail: "I don't know what will happen. Apparently, Leicester want me back at the end of the month but I'm happy here as I'm playing and I'm scoring goals. We'll see what happens at the end of January but I'd like to stay longer."

He added: "When I left, (Leicester manager) Nigel Pearson said he only wanted me to go for a month and wanted me back. But things can change so we'll have to see.

"There's nothing I can do about it. Leicester own my contract, so it's up to them."
