As far as England are concerned, that international break was pretty terrible, wasn’t it?
The Three Lions may have won both of their matches against Slovakia and Lithuania, but both by scrappy 1-0 wins.
They booked their place at the Russia World Cup but there aren’t too many England fans optimistic about their chances next summer.
But there are a couple of reasons to be a little bit excited about Gareth Southgate’s side.
Of course, there’s the in-form Harry Kane - who could thrust himself onto the world stage with some good performances for England in Russia.
But there’s also Marcus Rashford.
The 19-year-old is becoming a regular for his national side and has already earned 13 caps for England.
And with him in the line-up, there’s always hope.
And it’s not just the England fans that are excited by his ability. That’s because it seems the England players are as well.
England players were 'stunned'
According to a report in the Manchester Evening News, “England players raved about Marcus Rashford during the international fortnight and are convinced the Manchester United youngster will become a superstar.”
Reportedly, they are “stunned” by his ability and the biggest admirers play for United’s top-six rivals. One claimed Rashford is “so good for a teenager and believes he is destined to develop into a marquee player.”
Rashford has been given more opportunities by Mourinho at Manchester United this season with him rotating with Anthony Martial on the left wing at Old Trafford.
And he’s rewarded his manager with five goals in 11 matches for the Red Devils as they look to win their first Premier League trophy since 2013.
While that would be an achievement, helping England win their first major trophy since 1966 would certainly eclipse that.
But clearly, there are some England players that believe Rashford could just do that.
