Edinson Cavani has played with some exceptional forwards during his time at Paris Saint-Germain.

When he arrived at the Parc des Princes in 2013, he joined Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Those two have since moved on but Cavani’s current stable of strike partners is even more impressive.

On one side he has Neymar, on the other it’s Kylian Mbappe. That’s simply terrifying for any defence.

Cavani’s issues with Neymar, who became the world’s most expensive player in history in the summer, have been well documented but the pair seem to have moved on from that penalty dispute.

Playing with Ibrahimovic and Neymar has resulted in the Uruguayan perhaps not receiving the recognition he deserves but there’s no doubting his enormous talent.

He hit 49 goals in 50 appearances last season and has already found the net 13 times this term.

So Cavani is certainly getting his business done while PSG fans still marvel at the sight of Neymar and Mbappe in Paris.

Cavani's comical moment v Guingamp

Yet the 30-year-old is just as well-known for some of his misses and none were more hilarious than in 2015.

It came in a game against Guingamp, when PSG were awarded a penalty.

Up stepped Ibrahimovic but the Swede’s effort was saved by Jonas Lossl, who, admittedly, had stepped close to a yard from his line when the penalty was struck.

Nevertheless, the ball rebounded to Cavani. He misjudged just how far the ball had travelled after the save, though, and ended up trying to hook it back goalwards with his left foot.

The result was simply comical. Check it out below.

Like, what? You can actually hear the laughter from one PSG supporter in the crowd.

Cavani: I learned a lot from Zlatan

Ibrahimovic would end up leaving France at the end of the 2015-16 season, heading to Manchester United, but Cavani will never forget everything he learned from the mercurial forward.

"I think he [Ibrahimovic] scored more than 150 goals during his time here," Cavani told Stade2 earlier this year.

"I know that he is a great player. I was able to learn a lot of things from playing alongside him.

"I was able to see his attitude on the pitch. He is a warrior. Sincerely, I was very much inspired by his attitude - his hatred of losing and his desire to always win."

Wonder what Ibrahimovic said to Cavani after that miss against Guingamp.
