Burnley boss plays down Grant talk

Published Add your comment

Burnley manager Brian Laws insists talk of a move for Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant is nothing more than speculation for the time being.

Laws managed Grant at Hillsborough and has been linked with a £2million move to Turf Moor, with Stoke also said to be interested.

Laws said: "The majority will put two and two together because I've worked with him and he's a good goalkeeper. Obviously people speculate and we can't stop that. He's quite clearly a very good goalkeeper and he's got a bright future ahead of him but there's certainly nothing in it at the moment."
