Derby are keen to extend the loan deals of DJ Campbell, Nicky Hunt and Lee Johnson until the end of the season.

The trio are set to return to their parent clubs at the end of the month but boss Nigel Clough, who is also looking to make more loan signings, wants to prolong their stays at Pride Park.

"I think we would like to keep the three loans we have got until the end of the season so we will be talking to their clubs to see what we can do," said Clough.

He added: "On top of that, we would like to add two or three fresh loans to what we have. We are trying to bring players in and we have irons in the fire."

Meanwhile, teenage defender Jermaine Johnson has returned to Derby following his three-month loan spell at Blue Square North side Stafford Rangers.
