When it comes to boxing, it is the brutality and drive that entices us all. However, there is a time and place with rules to follow, and on Saturday night, one man over stepped the mark.In Wembley Arena, the welterweight bout between Nathan McIntosh and Louis Adolphe took a very dark turn. The title bout resulted in victory for McIntosh, through default, as Louis Adolphe knocked him out after the referee called the break. Many of us fans expected an apology from the British boxer, however, he took to Twitter in controversial fashion.“Thanks for all the messages of support regarding the controversial decision. There’s never a dull moment with Louis Adolphe #ATeam,” said Adophe on the social media platform. It is clear to us all that he has no remorse, and with no surprise, Twitter users did not take well to the lack of sportsmanship.“No ones given u messages of support,” said one user, with another replying: “That was probably your last fight in Britain. No remorse that’s why the fas don’t want to see you again!”Could this reaction be a marketing stunt for the Brit?

They do say that there is no such thing as bad publicity, and it has to be said, the boxer’s name is now known, however, for disgusting behaviour.

Let’s just say this, it's unlikely he can expect that Under Armour gig that Anthony Joshua has himself on the side.

Nonetheless, will he fight again?

It is without dispute that the sport is never to condone this type of behaviour. It is with certainty that fans of the sport will like to see severe consequences placed on Adolphe.

There is a point where the sport can become abused. Stop, when told to stop. A lesson that should be learned and vocalised, especially to the upcoming generation of the sport.

We would love to hear your opinions of the controversial blow below.
