Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore will be boosted by the news that Dale Tonge will be available for his side's clash against Grimsby.

The midfielder has missed the past two months with an ankle injury, but came through 90 minutes unscathed as the Millers' reserves lost 3-2 against Middlesbrough's second string on Wednesday.

Tonge's last game was the 2-1 victory over Port Vale in November and he will battle it out with Gary Roberts for a place in Moore's starting XI.

Defender Nick Fenton remains suspended for the fourth and final game of his ban.

Paul Warne is set to be missing for a further month with a foot injury and the game comes too soon for Andy Liddell who is back in light training following an Achilles injury.

Ashley Chambers goes straight into the Grimsby squad

The striker has been signed on loan from Leicester until the end of the season to help score the goals to keep the relegation threatened Mariners in the Football League.

His inclusion will be the only change to manager Neil Woods` squad as on-loan Barnsley forward Michael Coulson has extended his stay at Blundell Park for the remainder of the campaign.

Full-back Robbie Stockdale and striker Adrian Forbes remain the only injury absentees.

Stockdale has undergone a second operation on a troublesome hernia problem while Forbes faces at least another fortnight on the sidelines after scans revealed a hairline crack of his fibula.

Grimsby are without a win in 17 league games and are six points adrift of safety at the bottom of League Two.
