Joe Skarz is likely to make his debut as Shrewsbury go head-to-head with fellow high-flyers Dagenham.
The left-back signed on loan at the Prostar on Thursday and will slot into Paul Simpson's starting XI immediately, with Shane Cansdell-Sherriff moving into the middle of defence to cover the loss of Graham Coughlan (hamstring) who has been ruled out for around three weeks.
Kelvin Langmead will partner Cansdell-Sherriff, with Dean Holden likely to return from suspension at right-back and replace youngster Danny Taylor who made a confident debut in last weekend's 1-1 draw at Burton.
Reserve keeper Andres Arestidou (hernia) and striker Jake Simpson (knee) are expected to remain on the sidelines as they continue their recovery.
Dagenham's 2-0 victory at Crewe last Saturday saw them leapfrog Shrews into fourth place although manager Paul Simpson will be determined to secure the victory that would see them return the honours and extend Town's four-match unbeaten run.
All eyes will be on Dagenham striker Paul Benson as manager John Still prepares to name an unchanged side for the trip.
Benson has not scored in the last three games - a run going back to December 12 thanks to the spate of postponements which has blighted the Daggers in recent weeks - but enjoys playing the Shrews.
Benson has notched six times in the last three meetings of the sides, including four in the 5-0 home win back in August, and will be keen to add to his tally of 12 for the season.
Anwar Uddin picked up ankle injury whilst on loan at Grays in December but has now began light training while fellow defender Will Antwi will be out for a while with his thigh injury.
Midfielder Stuart Thurgood remains the only other absentee as he battles to recover from his thigh injury.
