Social media is a beautiful thing, especially in the world of professional wrestling. There's no doubt that the WWE's biggest star today is none other than former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Shield member Roman Reigns. Since longtime promotional frontrunner John Cena had taken a back step in his professional wrestling career, easing himself out of the main event scene to focus on other projects such as his acting career, Reigns seems to be the man selected by the company to serve as their new face.Reigns is entering into what is arguably the biggest storyline in professional wrestling, as he is reuniting with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to reform The Shield as they take on The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, and Braun Strowman at Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) on pay-per-view (PPV).Over on the indies, however, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes is beginning to make quite the name for himself as a singles competitor as he does work in Ring Of Honor (ROH) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), in addition to being a part of a highly-beloved faction of his own - The Bullet Club.Rhodes has dominated the indie scene and has been proving that he has what it takes to be a huge name in wrestling as a singles star, as opposed to the opportunities he was receiving in WWE. Rhodes recently defeated KUSHIDA to defend his ROH World Championship at ROH's Global Wars tour. After the match, Rhodes cut a promo and claimed to be the "biggest damn draw in this entire industry." A fan sent this over to Roman Reigns on Twitter, and "The Big Dog" took a shot at Rhodes claim by saying "If that house didn't draw over 100k. He's just talking silly.":

It didn't end there, however, as Rhodes took to Ring of Honor’s Global Wars: Chicago event to respond to Reigns by taking a dig at his past failed drug test with WWE, saying “I thought that tactical vest was just covering up a failed drug test, but it was covering up envy.”:

What are your thoughts on the back-and-forth going on between Rhodes and Reigns through social media and promos inside the ring? Is this simply a waste of time seeing as the pair are in separate companies and won't be seen together anytime soon? Or could this be a subtle hint that Rhodes is laying the groundwork for a feud with Reigns as he prepares to return to WWE? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
