One week ago, the Shield made their return to Monday Night RAW and made an instant impact when they destroyed The Bar, the Miz and Braun Strowman all in one night.Ever since, fans have been abuzz wondering just what the Shield's return could mean for Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins personally, and the WWE as a the whole.

Re-introducing themselves

One key aspect of the faction returning that the fans have been wondering about is their entrance.

For years, the three superstars performed one of the more unique entrances in WWE as they would make their way to the ring through the crowd.

Last week, each man made their own way to the stage using the same music that has become synonymous with each individual superstar over recent years - but Monday night was different.

Monday's episode of RAW began with General Manager Kurt Angle coming to the ring, but he didn't get to say much before he was interrupted.

Fans erupted as the Shield's famous "Sierra Hotel India Echo Lima Delta" introduction rang around the arena.

With the return of their introduction, no-one knew where to look, the stage or the stands.

The Shield went right back to basics though as they emerged within the fans and without any personalised superstar shirts.

All three members donned their tactical battle attire which may not be far away from the ring gear that Reigns has been wearing since his debut, but it was good to see Ambrose and Rollins back in the Shield outfit.

The Shield wasted little time in introducing themselves to Angle as they circled the ring in their usual style to leave the GM looking somewhat apprehensive.

Fortunately Angle would leave the ring unscathed and was on hand to play the role of peacekeeper when the Shield's opponents for TLC came to the stage.

Strowman, Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus came out at the Shield's request but were told not to come to the ring by the GM.

A new trend?

The alliance of Miz with the Bar sparked the return of the Shield, but RAW may have seen some new factions spawn as a result.

A six man tag team match on RAW could have some previously unaffiliated superstars now unified.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson partnered with Elias and even joined him for his pre- match performance on RAW.

They went against the team of Jason Jordan, Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews who again, all entered the arena as a team - suggesting that Jordan could even be joining Titus Worldwide.
