On the Monday Night Football, lovers of the game were treated by the presence of a very influential figure of the sport.
Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel joined Jamie Carragher on Sky Sports' coverage of Leicester City vs West Brom, providing some expert opinion on current Premier League matters.
He even had to analyse an error committed by his son Kasper, with the Danish shot-stopper making an ill-advised step to the right as Nacer Chadli lashed home a free-kick into the opposing side of the net.
He also discussed the colossal figure of David de Gea at United, with the Spaniard the closest thing to the 'Great Dane' in the club's history.
However, one discussion lead by Schmeichel was a tad more surprising, as he opened up about the qualities of Liverpool's Simon Mignolet.
The Belgian international has been a figure of frustration for many fans, with the former Sunderland man often prone to errors on the big stage.
But, Schmeichel is a big fan of him and believes he only needs to eradicate one side of his game in order to be a success.
"I think he is potentially very good," he said.
"He has had a really good season. Against Leicester he dropped the ball, but that is the only mistake he has made.
"My problem for Simon has been that his decision-making at times has not been very good, and sometimes I feel he is a goalkeeper that, with the insecurity and criticism he is facing, he wants to show everyone that he is a good goalkeeper.
"It looks like he has calmed down a little bit and Jurgen Klopp has told him 'you're my No.1, go and play as a No.1' and he is now doing the job that he needs to do.

So, if Mignolet can just keep himself calm between the sticks, he has all the assets to be a big success, according to Schmeichel.
There's no doubt he has improved, but he faces a big task in order to be labelled 'great'.
