Mickie James is set to make history at the upcoming TLC PPV (pay-per-view) event.

She started her career in professional wrestling back in 1999 as a valet on the independent circuit, where she was known under the name Alexis Laree. She worked for TNA June 2002 where she gained national attention. She is the only woman to be involved in the promotion's Clockwork Orange House of Fun matches. Moving along, she made her WWE main roster debut in October 2005 and was placed in a storyline with Trish Stratus.

This led to her receiving a big push and on her first WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 22 in 2006 from Stratus. She held that title for a total of five times. James also won her first Divas Championship at Night of Champions in 2009 to become the second of five Divas to hold both the Women's and Divas titles.

Her time in WWE came to an end on April 22, 2010, after which she returned to TNA. During her time with the promotion, she won the TNA Knockouts Championship three times and the 2013 TNA World Cup with Team USA. Fast forward to 2013, she was released in September of that year. She is the only female to hold the WWE Women's, WWE Divas, and TNA Knockouts Championships in wrestling history.

On October 13, 2016, it was announced that James would return to WWE's developmental brand NXT at the NXT TakeOver: Toronto event where she would compete on a match against the NXT Women's Champion Asuka for the title. James lost the match.

On the January 17, 2017, episode of SmackDown Live, James made her return by helping Alexa Bliss retain her SmackDown Women's Championship against Becky Lynch in a steel cage match. On April 10, James made her debut on the Raw brand as part of the Superstar Shake–up.

Mickie James will be creating a piece of WWE history when she takes on Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship at the event. She will have competed for or won every version of a Women’s Title that has been available during her career with the promotion.

The TLC pay-per-view event takes place on October 22nd at the Target Center in Minnesota, Minneapolis and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. This will be an exclusive RAW brand event. Here is the updated card:
