Ryback continues to find himself in the headlines for the wrong reasons since leaving the WWE last year. He began his professional wrestling career back in 2004 when he was signed to a developmental deal by WWE. After six years in developmental he made his main roster debut as a member of the Nexus before breaking off as a singles talent under the Ryback gimmick. He was briefly involved in the main event scene, challenging for the WWE Championship multiple times, but ultimately fell off down to the Intercontinental Title picture. In August of last year Ryback announced that he and WWE had parted ways. He reportedly asked for his release from the company after being disgruntled by unequal pay for wrestlers. Ryback now works the independent circuit in addition to hosting his own podcast, Conversation With The Big Guy.On his podcast Ryback has talked about his time with WWE, dishing as much dirt as he possibly can on people such as Vince McMahon, CM Punk, and John Cena throughout his years working with them. He has also picked up a negative reaction from fans after comments he made in the most recent episode.Ryback commented on how women in WWE should be used as eye candy, and followed that up by uploading a video in which he commented on Charlotte Flair's appearance on WWE TV. In the latest episode of his podcast, Ryback made some comments that haven't exactly been well received by his female listeners and female wrestling fans in general. And that's putting it lightly. (quotes via Ringside News):“That’s how I feel about a wrestler dating a girl that’s a huge wrestling fan. I don’t know if I would…” to which Marie said.“Oh my God, did you watch the match, that’s all they would want to talk about.” to which Ryback replied, “Yea, amongst other things – mental issues. I would just…it would be scary to me.”

What are your thoughts on Ryback's comments on his podcast regarding female professional wrestling fans? Do you think it could affect promoters' willingness to book him in the future? Or will this get him more heat in the professional wrestling world, helping him get even more bookings? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
