We now know why Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas have been off WWE television.

Wyatt is a third-generation professional wrestler, he has followed in the footsteps of his grandfather Blackjack Mulligan and his father Mike Rotunda. He signed with WWE in 2009 and was placed in WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling where he would go onto to hold the FCW Tag Team Championship twice.

He also briefly wrestled on WWE's main roster from 2010 to 2011, most notably as a member of The Nexus.

After returning to WWE's developmental territories in mid-2011, Wyatt was rebranded as the villainous cult leader of the eponymous faction The Wyatt Family with the group eventually making its main roster debut in 2013.

Wyatt won his first championship on the main roster in December 2016 by winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship with Randy Orton.

They would go onto defended the championship with fellow Wyatt Family member Luke Harper under the Freebird Rule Wyatt then went on to win the WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber event in February 2017 but lost the title to Orton at WrestleMania 33.

Wyatt and Dallas have been off WWE TV for the last couple of weeks and JoJo was absent on this week’s episode of Raw. As a result, there has been speculation regarding their futures with the sports entertainment company.

Justin Labar of the Pittsburgh Tribune is reporting that Bray, Bo, and JoJo have been off WWE shows because of viral meningitis. This makes sense due to the connection that they all have. Bray and Bo are brothers and JoJo is dating Bray.

Generally, people recover from the illness on their own within 7-10 days. Thus, Wyatt should be ready to go for his match against Finn Balor at this Sunday’s WWE TLC PPV.

The TLC pay-per-view event takes place on October 22nd at the Target Center in Minnesota, Minneapolis and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. This will be an exclusive RAW brand event. Here is the updated card:
