Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has recently been called out by Jinder Mahal to have a non-title Champion vs Champion match with the WWE Champion at Survivor Series next month in the main event of the show.

The Beast Incarnate is expected to accept this challenge when he appears next week on Monday Night RAW, and many people expect him to beat The Modern Day Maharaja easily when the two meet in the ring on November 19.

It has been widely speculated that Lesnar will put his Universal title on the line against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans in 2018, but between now and then, not much has been speculated on his booking.

There are dozens of superstars in the main event scene at the moment on RAW, meaning there are plenty of opponents that The Beast could potentially face including Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Samoa Joe, Bray Wyatt, and The Miz. However, one name has been rumored to be Lesnar's opponent for the Royal Rumble next year.

According to the Wrestling Observer, via Cageside Seats, the Universal Champion could very well be putting his title on the line at the Royal Rumble in 2018 in a marquee, never-before-seen match up against Finn Balor.

For a match of this magnitude, there's no doubt Balor would be bringing out his Demon persona, just like he will this Sunday at the TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view against Bray Wyatt's Sister Abigail.

The Demon King has already begun to hype up a possible match between himself and The Beast during an interview with Metro Sport last week, saying: “Listen, I don’t shy away from a fight for one second and I would absolutely love to be in there with Brock Lesnar.

"Once I handle Bray Wyatt, I need to be going after the Universal Championship which I was never beaten for. Yes, Brock Lesnar is the current champion, but make sure you don’t forget that I relinquished the title due to injury, I was never beaten, and I definitely think that I deserve a title shot.”

Lesnar vs Balor will definitely be a match that WWE fans would like to see happen, so hopefully, the company does book for the match to take place at the Royal Rumble in 2018.
