Daniel Bryan has reacted to the biggest news story of the week.The SmackDown Live Commissioner has teased in the past about returning to Ring of Honor once his contract with WWE expires next year.Bryan, who was forced to retire last year due to his history with concussions, has talked about wrestling again in the past. Whether that be in WWE or in another promotion. He wrestled for Ring of Honor from 2002 to 2009 and has been recognized as a "Founding Father" of the promotion.During his time with the promotion, he was a one-time ROH World Champion, as well the final Pure Wrestling Champion (unifying the Pure title with the World title). He was the first winner of ROH's annual Survival of the Fittest tournament in 2004.Although the sports entertainment company wasn’t fully behind him at first, he has overcome the challenges that were put in front of him and became a fan favorite.Despite that his run on top in WWE was short-lived, he no doubt made a mark on the history of the sports entertainment company. It’s believed that the former WWE Champion will be leaving WWE after his contract with the company expires in September of 2018.WWE announced on Friday afternoon that due to medical concerns Roman Reigns had been removed from the scheduled 3-on-5 TLC match between The Shield and the team of The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, and Kane at this Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view.Bryan tweeted out the following about Angle’s in-ring return, which you can see below:

WWE issued the following statement on the changes to the TLC lineup on Friday:
Due to medical issues impacting two WWE Superstars scheduled to appear at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, streaming live on WWE Network this Sunday, the special event will now feature Kurt Angle competing in a WWE ring for the first time in more than 11 years, as he replaces Roman Reigns. In addition, former WWE Champion AJ Styles will replace Bray Wyatt and face “The Demon” Finn Bálor.

A WWE Hall of Famer and the current General Manager of Raw, Angle will join forces with Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose to battle the daunting combination of Braun Strowman, Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus and The Big Red Machine Kane in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs 5-on-3 Handicap Match.

The showdown between “The Demon” and Styles is one that the WWE Universe has been wanting for a long time and promises to be one of the most exciting matches of 2017.
