The epic 5-on-3 main event for tonight's (Sun. October 22, 2017) Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view (PPV) was one of the most anticipated bouts in professional wrestling this year - and Sheamus and Cesaro sucked the momentum out of it with one single botched move.

Originally plans had The Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins) set to reunite against the team of The Miz, The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro), Braun Strowman, and Kane. All was well up until this past Friday when news broke that a terrible illness had spread throughout the WWE locker room, infecting a few of the key TLC participants.

One of those participants was Roman Reigns, who was removed from the bout - putting a halt to The Shield's reunion plans. Instead WWE announced that WWE Hall Of Famer and Monday Night RAW General Manager Kurt Angle would return to the ring for the first time in over 11 years to join The Shield and replace "The Big Dog."

Angle had been campaigning for several months to get back into the WWE ring, hoping for one last big sendoff before he ends his in-ring career for good. This gives him the opportunity to impress Vince McMahon in attempt to land a big one-on-one sendoff match.

When "The Olympic Hero" did take to the ring, however, he certainly didn't disappoint the WWE Universe. Angle came out and delivered German Suplexes to The Miz, Sheamus, and Cesaro.

He would then hit Angle Slams on Sheamus and Cesaro before aligning with The Shield for a Triple Power Bomb on The Miz for the win.

It was a great match and an awesome way to welcome Angle back to the ring, but the momentum for the match was sucked away for a few minutes during one epic botch by Sheamus and Cesaro.

The Bar attempted to put Dean Ambrose through a table inside the ring, however, The Bar didn't put him through hard enough and the table didn't break.

You can see the botch here:

What are your thoughts on Sheamus and Cesaro epically botching their table spot with Dean Ambrose during the main event of TLC? Do you blame the table for being faulty? Or did Sheamus and Cesaro miscalculate where they positioned Ambrose on the table - causing it not to break in the slightest? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
