With TLC out of the way, both RAW and Smackdown is gearing up for the 2017 Survivor Series in which both shows will go head to head in several contests.

The first challenge was laid down last week when Smackdown's WWE Champion Jinder Mahal officially challenged the Universal Champion from RAW, Brock Lesnar.

Gearing up for battle

The Beast incarnate returned to Monday night RAW to accept Mahal's challenge while his advocate Paul Heyman would share his true feelings on the Modern Day Maharaja.

Firing insults at Mahal and the Singh Brothers, Heyman didn't hold back and confirmed the likely main event for Survivor Series.

Monday's episode of RAW got started in an interesting way though as General Manager Kurt Angle came to the ring to confirm some matches set for the event.

Angle would reveal five different matches which will take place at Survivor Series, including three Champion vs Champion matches.

Angle revealed that RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will take on the Smackdown Live Tag team Champions, the Usos.

Smackdown Live Women's Champion Natalya will also battle her RAW counterpart Alexa Bliss while two of the more polarising superstars in the WWE will also go one on one.

Intercontinental Champion the Miz will take on Smackdown's United States Champion Baron Corbin.

The four Champion vs Champion matches will surely be entertaining, but Angle also revealed that there will be two five-on-five traditional elimination tag team matches.

With elimination tag matches for both the Men's and Women's divisions, Survivor Series is set to play host to a lot of great match ups.

Angle has already set up a great event with the matches which have already been revealed, but the hype for Survivor Series really built during the final segment of the show.

Under Siege

After an interesting conversation with Smackdown live Commissioner Shane McMahon, Angle would see a glimpse of his future.

McMahon had claimed that RAW was under siege and that came true during the end of the show in which the entire Smackdown Live roster circled the RAW ring.

Smackdown's superstars would then head to the locker room and assault any and all RAW superstars they could find.

They would eventually bring Angle back to the ring where McMahon would give him one last warning before taking his troops out of the arena.
