WWE officially kicked off their build-up for Survivor Series this week on Monday Night RAW by announcing some of the matches will be included on the pay-per-view and the theme for the event, RAW vs SmackDown.RAW general manager Kurt Angle announced pretty much the entire card for the event, which includes two traditional Survivor Series Elimination matches, men and women, and four Champion vs Champion matches. The Champion vs Champion matches on the show are Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs United States Champion Baron Corbin, RAW Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins vs SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. SmackDown Women's Champion Natalya, and Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. As well as announcing matches for Survivor Series, WWE amped up their build-up for the show by having SmackDown Live superstars invade and attack RAW superstars who were backstage on Monday night.SmackDown superstars posted their reaction to their siege of Monday Night RAW after the show had taken place, and The New Day had the best reaction of the night.Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods posted their reaction while they were in a vehicle going away from the arena last night, ripping into the WWE's red brand. Big E even made the savage comment: "If RAW was my baby I'd give it away!" before they all screamed "Blue!" at the camera.

It's fair to say that SmackDown has thrown and successfully landed the first punch in their head to head clash against RAW after the blue brand superstars managed to beat up several red brand superstars backstage.

It will be interesting to see how RAW responds to the carnage made by SmackDown on Monday night during their siege of the show. They're bound to do something on SmackDown this week, or at least you would think they would do that.
