Lincoln's injury problems have began to mount ahead of the visit of Dagenham.

A knee injury forced Nathan Baker off at half-time during the midweek defeat at Burton and the on-loan Aston Villa defender looks likely to miss out.

On-loan Fulham duo Matt Saunders and Michael Uwezu have returned to the Premier League club with thigh and Achilles injuries respectively after breaking down in training.

However, one piece of good news for City boss Chris Sutton was the long-awaited return of Paul Connor against Burton on Wednesday night.

The striker made his first appearance since the start of September following a knee injury as a late substitute at the Pirelli Stadium and will be involved again on Saturday.

Dagenham midfielder Stuart Thurgood has been sent to see a specialist ahead of the trip.

Thurgood had a cartilage operation in December but is not responding as quickly as was suggested so has been sent for a second opinion.

In Thurgood's continued absence, on-loan Portsmouth midfielder Marlon Pack will continue in central midfield alongside Danny Spiller.

Defenders Will Antwi (thigh) and Anwar Uddin (ankle) have restarted training but this game is too early for their involvement.

Manager John Still will be looking for a response after the Daggers' promotion hopes were dealt a blow by back-to-back defeats this week to Shrewsbury and Notts County.

Jon Nurse could be handed a recall in attack. He scored twice in a 3-0 win over Lincoln back in August.
