It’s very easy to forget that Marcus Rashford is still only 19-years-old - well for a few more days at least. The wonderkid has established himself as a regular in the first-team at Manchester United and is continuing to impress 20 months after his incredible debut against FC Midtjylland in the Europa League. All too often, we see youngsters burst onto the scene with a debut goal only to fail to keep up their performance levels in the coming weeks and months. But that's certainly not the case for Rashford. But it’s not just his performances on the pitch that have matured during that time. The forward has become a big figure in the United changing room and is definitely a role model for all those youngsters in United's academy - and other Premier League clubs - hoping to follow in his footsteps. But it’s not only the players younger than him that Rashford is helping. That much could be seen during United’s Carabao Cup clash against Swansea on Tuesday.Rashford was one of the most experienced starters in Jose Mourinho’s side with the likes of Axel Tuanzebe, Scott McTominay and summer signing Victor Lindelof being given starts. The latter would have been praying for a good performance after his horror show against Huddersfield last weekend. The Swede - who was signed for £30 million from Benfica - came on for the injured Phil Jones with the scores at 0-0. Ten minutes later, Huddersfield were 2-0 up and Lindelof didn’t cover himself in glory for either goal. The defender will be very glad to have kept a clean sheet during United’s 2-0 victory in Wales, then. And it seems he got some encouraging words from Rashford during the match. After Jesse Lingard had given the away side the lead - via a delightful flick from Rashford - the United players celebrated together. And United fans have picked up on a moment between Rashford and Lindelof. The youngster can be seen with his hand round the centre-back, clearly having a few words with him - despite being four years his junior. We don’t know quite what was said but it’s fair to say United fans absolutely loved it.
