Manchester United produced the performance of the weekend, and it's no surprise that four of their stars have earned starting places in the GMF team.

Wayne Rooney and Nani both scored for the Red Devils, but their all-round play was quite stunning at times.

Michael Carrick pulled the strings and ripped the Gunners apart after a slight tactical switch mid-way through the first half, while captain Patrice Evra led the troops with a confidence only matched by his defending.

Title rivals Chelsea have captain John Terry in the starting line-up, with the England international doing his talking on the pitch with a crucial winner against Burnley at Turf Moor. Team-mate Nicolas Anelka finds himself on the bench after opening the scoring.

Aston Villa kept up the chase for fourth place thanks to a brace from striker Gabriel Agbonlahor. Compatriot Luke Young also starts for GMF after keeping Damien Duff quiet on the Fulham flank.

Winger Ashley Young makes the bench after another fine display for the Villains, while keeper Brad Friedel also makes it onto the subs bench after a clean sheet at Craven Cottage.

Everton midfielder Tim Cahill is back to his best according to manager David Moyes, and we don't disagree. The Australian popped up to nod in the winner against Wigan, earning himself a spot at the heart of our side.

Birmingham defender Liam Ridgewell would make the side for his injury-time equaliser against Spurs alone, but the centre back produced a fine display against a fearsome strike duo in Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe. Indeed, the later got on the scoresheet and makes the bench for his clinical strike.

Hull City winger Stephen Hunt starts on the left flank after a display in difficult circumstance against Wolves. Linked with a switch to Molineux, the Irishman tucked away a penalty in the 2-2 draw.

Completing the line-up is West Ham keeper Robert Green. The England international produced a string of saves against Blackburn, and will have a pivotal role to play for the Hammers if they are to stay in the Premier League this season. Opposition defender Ryan Nelsea also makes it onto the bench after a stalemate at Upton Park.

The final two positions on the bench go to Liverpool players, with Dirk Kuyt earning his place with a goal in the 2-0 win against Bolton. Jamie Carragher controversially pips Sotirios Kyrgiakos onto the bench, with the pair forming a formidable partnership in defence at Anfield.
