On-trial winger Devann Yao has signed a short-term contract with Ipswich to keep him at the club until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has impressed during his time at Portman Road and, despite being sidelined for a month with a shin problem, has done enough to earn a deal with the Championship outfit.
"I've really enjoyed my time here and I'm very happy that I now have the chance to play for Ipswich," he said.

"I'm here until the summer and hopefully in that time I can break into the first team."
He added: "If I can play one or two games then that would mean I'm making progress.
"They have been really positive to me and now the challenge is to keep improving and try and win myself a new contract in the summer."
