Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll is expected to include Shelton Martis in his starting line-up for the home game with Reading.

The Dutch central defender, who spent a month on loan with Doncaster in late 2008, signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Keepmoat Stadium this week after Rovers agreed an undisclosed fee with West Brom.

Martis will provide cover for injured central defenders Adam Lockwood, who is nursing his second metatarsal injury of the season, and Jason Shackell, who has had surgery on a groin problem.

Striker Dean Shiels is expected to make the starting line-up alongside strike partner Billy Sharp, while young midfielder Jordon Mutch, on loan from Birmingham, is hoping to play a bigger role after two substitute appearances.

Manager O'Driscoll has no new injury or suspension problems as his side look to bounce back from last week's defeat at Cardiff.

Reading boss Brian McDermott also has no fresh injury concerns as he looks to build on his first league win as a manager.

Shane Long's goal gave the Royals a 1-0 win over Barnsley last weekend and the Republic of Ireland international will keep his place in attack, with one of Simon Church, Grzegorz Rasiak, Nicholas Bignall or Gunnar Thorvaldsson partnering him.

Czech Republic international midfielder Marek Matejovsky remains on the sidelines with an abdominal injury and is expected to be out for around another fortnight.

On-loan Blackburn defender Zurab Khizanishvili is still waiting to make his debut after signing last month while centre-half Matt Mills will come up against his former side.

Noel Hunt (knee), Chris Armstrong (knee) and Julian Kelly (shoulder) remain sidelined as the Royals look to draw level with Ipswich at the foot of the table.
