Bournemouth kept up the pressure on Rochdale at the top of Coca-Cola League Two with a 2-1 win over Notts County.

The Cherries had an ideal start when Danny Hollands sent a shot into the top-right corner of the net in the first minute.

Hollands then doubled the lead 10 minutes from half-time with a left-footed shot into the bottom of the goal. Neal Bishop pulled one back but they could not force an equaliser.

Bury came from behind to claim a 2-1 win over Macclesfield.

Macclesfield took a shock lead when Richard Butcher's mis-hit shot ricocheted off a group of players but their joy was short-lived when Ryan Lowe fired home a penalty following Colin Daniel's foul on the striker. Andy Bishop then put the hosts ahead with a little over 10 minutes left.

Rotherham moved up to fourth thanks to a 2-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge. The Millers went ahead in the 11th minute when Adam Le Fondre converted from close range and the same player doubled the lead from the spot after he was fouled by Mark Arber.

Shrewsbury moved up a place to fifth with a 2-0 win over Barnet. The Shrews took the lead when Craig Disley headed home Lewis Neal's cross before Steven Leslie sealed the win with a 20-yard shot.

Meanwhile, Chesterfield's play-off ambitions were boosted with a 2-1 win at Port Vale, Northampton had an emphatic 4-0 win over play-off hopefuls Accrington Stanley and Burton had a 1-0 win at Cheltenham to leave the Robins just one place above the relegation zone.

Elsewhere, bottom side Darlington conceded a last-minute goal to draw 1-1 at home to Lincoln.
