A former WWE star has teased a potential return to the WWE.

That talent is Adam Cole, who signed with the sports entertainment company in 2012 and was placed Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) where he would would go onto portray his Leo Kruger character. When WWE rebranded its developmental territory, FCW, into NXT Wrestling, WWE officials later decided to rebrand him as a fun loveable character.

He returned to television in March 2014 on an episode of NXT, with his new character being an organizer of parties with various colorful costumed party-goers, who accompany him during his ring entrance.

After WrestleMania XXX, WWE aired introductory vignettes for Rose, who would go onto make his main roster debut on the 5 May episode of Raw, by interrupting Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger.Rose continued to distract Swagger during his matches, leading to Swagger losing.

Moving along to April of 2016, WWE announced that Rose was suspended for 60 days after his second violation of the company's Wellness Program.Four days later on 20 April, he publicly addressed his suspension as "not right", saying "I did not do anything knowingly wrong and was taking prescribed medication that my [doctor] and I followed all the correct protocol on."

Three weeks later, he was arrested in Hillsborough County, Florida for domestic violence and tampering with a witness. Later that day, WWE announced that as a result, Rose had been suspended indefinitely. HeLeppan requested his release from WWE and on May 23rd, 2016, the company announced it was granted.

Rose teased on Instagram on Thursday that he has some big news to share, teasing that it is related to WWE. He wrote, “Big news coming! Stay tuned… #WWE #wrestling #NXT#adamrose #poop.”

During an interview with Pro Wrestling Sheet, Rose discussed his WWE release.

“I never heard one single word from anyone. But I knew what I was doing when I released that doctors note, I knew the the likely outcome and implications and accepted them! I think the Wellness Policy is a great thing and absolutely needed. Just take a look at the mortality rate of pro wrestlers of the past, I totally get it.

WWE has done an amazing job of making sure that doesn’t ever happen again. But I think in some cases, my case included, they jumped the gun for whatever reason.”

“It was a mutual thing. Honestly, I had just hit too many problems back to back. My mistakes or not, guilty or not? It was starting to look really bad. It was just the best choice for everyone involved and the WWE and I knew that. Adam Rose never quite took off in the WWE! Is it the company’s fault, or my fault?

Probably a bit of both. The character Adam Rose that debuted on NXT was not the same character that the WWE Universe got. Honestly, I am happy to leave. It was time. I wanted to be home more. My boys and my wife needed me. My poor wife had been carrying the load the whole time while I was off living my dream. It was not right or fair to her or my boys.”
