Torquay are boosted by the arrival of Plymouth striker Ashley Barnes ahead of their clash against Port Vale.
Barnes, 20, has joined the Gulls on loan for the rest of the season and comes into contention as Scott Rendell (arm) is ruled out.
Barnes will vie with Elliot Benyon and Chris Zebroski for one of two starting places in attack.
Winger Wayne Carlisle (knee) is set to be ruled out by injury after missing last week's 1-0 defeat at Hereford.
Carlisle has not featured since the 1-0 defeat at Chesterfield last month.
With on-loan full back Sam Cox returning to parent club Tottenham, Buckle must change his back four once again.
The Torquay boss has signed former St Mirren left-back Mo Camara as cover, but United must receive international clearance before the former Derby and Burnley man can make his debut.
Vale boss Micky Adams will make at least one change.
Central defender Gareth Owen has been ruled out having sustained a hamstring injury during Tuesday night`s reverse against Chesterfield, but the injury is not as bad as first feared and the 27-year-old could be back in contention next weekend.
The Spireites defeat was Vale`s second on the spin and Adams could be tempted to make changes, although he refused to be too downbeat following the spirited manner of the midweek defeat.
The Valiants boss made two changes from last Saturday`s loss to Burton, with Lewis Haldane and Sean Rigg coming in for Rob Taylor and Louis Dodds.
And it remains to be seen where he will go from here as his charges look to close the nine-point gap that has opened up between Vale and those in the play-off places.
