Di Matteo escapes FA action

The Football Association have confirmed West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo will face no futher action over comments made about referee Stuart Attwell after the 1-1 draw at Ipswich on January 26.

The FA had previously written to the Baggies` head coach asking for his observations in respect of remarks made regarding Attwell's decision to award the Tractor Boys a 68th-minute penalty during the clash last month.

However, their decision now means Di Matteo will be free to manage from his regular spot on the sidelines against Reading on Saturday.
