Ibehre at the double as County claim point: Match Review

Jabo Ibehre's brace ensured Stockport earned a deserved point in a 2-2 draw at home to Colchester.

On-loan striker Ibehre pounced to score his second goal of the game from 15 yards after latching onto a long ball forward from Paul Huntington.

Colchester had earlier claimed a 10th-minute lead with a comical goal.

Owain fon Williams let David Prutton's harmless-looking free-kick into the box slip through his grasp and the ball dropped into the net.

George Donnelly saw a shot hit the post for Stockport, but the visitors' lead was doubled when Anthony Wordsworth fired home an angled shot.

Fon Williams then produced a fine save to deny Kayode Odejayi, before Stockport got one back in the 23rd minute as Ibehre tapped home after Donnelly's initial shot had been saved by Ben Williams.

After Ibehre's second goal there was a frantic finish, with Colchester substitute Ian Henderson going closest to a winner as his superbly-struck shot struck the crossbar.
