In-form Brentford needed a late Myles Weston equaliser to salvage a point in a scrappy 1-1 draw with struggling Wycombe.
Winger Weston, who signed a new contract this week, drilled home from the edge of the box with 75 minutes gone for his third goal in two games.
Wycombe had gone ahead in the 27th minute through Kevin Betsy.
The striker side-footed the opener from 18 yards with a low, angled drive which left Brentford keeper Wojciech Szczesny with no chance.
Former Bees frontman Matt Harrold almost pinched maximum points for the visitors following a defensive blunder but substitute Sam Wood raced back to clear off the line.
