Hereford made it three straight wins at Edgar Street as they eased to a 2-0 win against Aldershot.
Striker Gavin McCallum rolled the ball into the net in the 27th minute to set up the victory. McCallum latched on to a loose ball after a mix-up between Chris Blackburn and Anthony Charles to score from close range.
It was McCallum's fourth goal in three home games, and to make matters worse for the Shots, Blackburn gifted Hereford their second goal when he turned a shot from Mark Pugh into his own net in the 35th minute.
Aldershot's best effort in the first half came from Charles, but on both occasions he failed to beat Hereford goalkeeper Adam Bartlett.
Scott Donnelly also drilled a 20-yard free-kick inches wide of the Hereford upright after teenager Paul Downing had been booked for impeding Marvin Morgan.
After the break, Oliver Bozanic put the ball into the arms of Hereford goalkeeper Bartlett.
Aldershot defender Anthony Straker wasted a chance to reduce the deficit in the 61st minute when he drilled the ball over the bar with only Bartlett to beat.
With eight minutes remaining, Blackburn blocked a goalbound drive from James McQuilkin as Hereford continued to push forward.
And just before the end, Charles headed wide as the Bulls held firm to secure the three points.
