Not only have fans taken to Twitter to react to the WWE releasing James Ellsworth but several wrestlers as well.

The big story on Wednesday, November 15th was the sports entertainment company releasing the SmackDown star.

It should be noted that before he had a big role on WWE television, he had his initial WWE run, as one of Adam Rose's "Rosebuds" whenever the company came into the Baltimore area. He came into fame when he had his first WWE singles match on the July 25, 2016 episode of Raw as an enhancement talent, being quickly defeated by Braun Strowman.

Ellsworth resurfaced on WWE television on the September 13 episode of SmackDown Live as the mystery tag team partner for AJ Styles against Dean Ambrose and John Cena, only to be attacked by The Miz (his replacement in the actual match) as he walked down to the ring.

After legitimately signing with the sports entertainment company last year, he was inserted into a main program for the WWE Title between Styles and Ambrose.

After his loss to AJ Styles, Ellsworth allied himself with Carmella. This leads us to now. As seen on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Manchester, England at the Manchester Arena on the USA Network, Carmella turned on Ellsworth by super kicking him after his match with Becky Lynch.

Several wrestlers chimed in on Ellsworth being released, which you can see here:
Matt Hardy: “Classy statement. Be very proud of what you accomplished, Pretty Jimmy. Very few performers get to live the WWE dream. Chin up (figuratively), strong, keep moving forward.. Seeya down the road, pal.”

Mike Kanellis: “Thanks for being a great traveling partner! You're an inspiration my friend.”

Lince Dorado: “Inside and outside the ring @realellsworth is a good guy and great asset to any show. Good luck amigo, you're going to be just fine!”

Zack Ryder: “Sad to see @realellsworth leave @WWE...but happy i got to see him live his dream. T-shirt...walk out at WrestleMania...Action figure...etc.”

Dolph Ziggler: “Everyones favorite underdog, quietly & humbly lived his dream on tv, gave others hope, did what was asked, made friends along the way & almost became WORLD CHAMP? Gross! You are what is wrong with pro wrestling @realellsworth
Good riddance! ps I’m taking back MY finisher #Duh.”

Scott Dawson: “The world would be a much better place with more people like @realellsworth! Undeniable work ethic and a great attitude. Thanks for letting millions of people live vicariously through you!”

Taz: “Hey @realellsworth dont sweat it man, you had a great journey that most thought u wouldn't have had....go git'em! #FillTheCalendar.”

Mojo Rawley: “Really proud of you buddy. You overcame alllllll the odds to live the dream. A true inspiration for all of the underdogs out there. @realellsworth”
