Earlier this week, WWE said goodbye to one of their most beloved superstars on their roster, James Ellsworth.WWE announced on their website on Wednesday that they had come to terms with the release of the former SmackDown Live superstar, and they wished him the best in all of his future endeavors. Since then, the love for Ellsworth has been flooding in.Many WWE fans and superstars alike have been showing their support for Ellsworth, sharing the good times they had watching him perform in the ring and how much of an inspiration he was to them.Dolph Ziggler was one of those superstars that showed his love for Ellsworth sharing a special moment which the two had one point backstage which many WWE fans are bound to love.In the photo which The Showoff shared on Twitter, himself and Ellsworth are back to back wearing sunglasses with the caption: "#tbt #TFW 2 independent brothers waiting for that twins reboot, like..." Ellsworth liked the tweet. This is, of course, a play on the famous buddy comedy film Twins from the 1980s starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito. No prizes for guessing who is who in this photo and it doesn't take a genius to work it out!The Showoff also trolled Ellsworth in another tweet, saying he's thankful that Ellsworth has gone as it means he gets his finisher back.He said in another tweet: "Everyone's favorite underdog, quietly & humbly lived his dream on tv, gave others hope, did what was asked, made friends along the way & almost became WORLD CHAMP? Gross! You are what is wrong with pro wrestling @realellsworth. Good riddance! ps I’m taking back MY finisher #Duh"Ellsworth released a statement on his Twitter following his release from the WWE saying: "Thank you @WWE for letting me live my dream, thank you fans for all the support, I'll continue to prove #AnyManWithTwoHandsHasAFightingChance"

Ellsworth has arguably been one of the more successful superstars in the WWE over the past year, as he turned what should have just been a one-and-done match with the company into a one-year WWE deal.

This was all thanks to his promo of "any man with two hands has a fighting chance" before he was squashed in a match with Braun Strowman on Raw. His promo gathered support from WWE fans and subsequently, the company recognized this and gave him a one year deal.

Ellsworth has now hit the independent circuit once more, where he is bound to receive more bookings than he usually would thanks to his time in the WWE over the past year.
