It's been another huge year for Anthony Joshua and it's expected 2018 could be even bigger.

Now the IBF, WBA (Super) and IBO world champion after beating Wladimir Klitschko in April and Carlos Takam last month, AJ plans to dominate heavyweight boxing.

Fights against Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker are currently being lined up to win the WBC and WBO belts and become the unified champion.

And once he's achieved that goal, Joshua wants a piece of Tyson Fury to finally set the record straight and prove he's the best.

"The plan is for AJ to unify the belts in 2018," said Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promote. "We really would like to create three massive fights next year.

"The instructions from AJ is: 'I want to be the unified champion by the end of 2018,' so that means going through Wilder and Parker.

"We would fight Wilder in the US. We'd love the fight in the UK. Maybe we do two of them."

Joshua is the biggest name in boxing right now, which inevitably means every heavyweight boxer wants a go at beating him.

But it must be said, at this moment in time, AJ looks unstoppable.

The 29-year-old endured a few rocky moments against Klitschko in April  but he eventually got the job done in the 11th round by TKO.

There's a sense that the best is yet to come, but everything that's happened up to this point was predicted by Hearn back in 2013.

Joshua made his professional debut four years ago against the undefeated Emanuele Leo and made small work of the Italian, winning by TKO in the first round.

And speaking afterwards, Hearn insisted he had found someone who could become a role model to young people and an ambassador for boxing, not to mention a "massive star".

Nailed it. Hearn said: "That was a great performance. Every step is going to be a learning curve. I'm so excited about Anthony Joshua.

"Not just because he's a great talent but because I think we've got a real chance of a role model and an ambassador in the sport of boxing. Someone the young people can look up to.

"With Anthony Joshua we've got every chance to do it. Loads of opportunities, keep him active - we've got a massive star on our hands."

AJ was slightly more reserved when asked if he can do all the way, though: "I'm not saying anything just yet."

Joshua has remained humble throughout his career and like Hearn predicted, he's become a role model to young people chasing their dreams.
